Whether or not this qualifies as a minimalist composition is debatable.

Residing in the southeast corner of Squire Valleevue Farm, this was my favorite Ohio barn (distant center, along horizon line) until 2013. Unfortunately, despite protestations of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) alumni, farm staff and other visitors, the “character” was “repaired” and whitewashed out of this small building, its compelling, transient beauty and imperfection, replaced with full restoration to its original white and glossy state.
