The Narrows, Northern View

A perspective, few experience I suspect, as it required crawling over a low bridge barrier and clawing my way down a steep embankment, balancing a camera in one hand, tripod in another. At the bottom lies a narrow bank running next to the water and beneath the roadway. Perhaps 10–15 feet beyond one can perch on a couple of angulated, limestone rocks. The reward to be found for the effort lies in this narrow stretch of calm water linking upper and lower Lake Leelanau, the other worldly reflection(s) found on rare mornings.
